You’re next — and that means doing it differently

Write your own story — with clarity, conviction, and respect for what came before.

Our community is designed to help you navigate the messy, beautiful journey of being "the next generation" — so you can create your own path while honoring what came before.

Because legacy should feel like a foundation, not a weight on your shoulders.

What you'll get (that you can't Google):

A space to be proud of your family — and question your place in it

Real strategies for navigating high-stakes convos with your parents or siblings

A community that gets the pressure of having “options” — and still feeling stuck

For next-gens navigating legacy, expectations, and the need to make it their own

Successors | Legacy Navigators | Identity Seekers | Leaders in the Making

I've sat across from so many next-gens who feel that strange mix of gratitude and pressure. If you've ever thought:

"I love our family business, but I'm not sure if it's my calling"

"Dad built this from nothing — how could I possibly fill those shoes?"

"I want to honor our legacy but also bring my own ideas to the table"

Then honestly — I've been there too. And that's why I created this space.

From invisible pressure to intentional direction: your legacy, your way

Let's journey together so that you can find that sweet spot between honoring your family and becoming your own person. Here's some of the steps I've seen work REALLY well for others:

Step 1

Get honest about where you are — the expectations, the doubts, all of it.

Step 2

Explore what YOU actually want (even if it's different than what everyone thinks).

Step 3

Create your path forward — with genuine confidence.

Hi, I'm Andrea —

Your Next Gen Friend

I found myself at the crossroads of family legacy and personal identity, trying to figure out which path was truly mine. That journey — messy and beautiful and complicated — led me here.

I’m also the incoming President at The Transition Strategists — a privately held business that feels like family, even though I’m not related by blood. So whether you’re in the family or just part of the fabric, I get it.

Because finding your place in the family story shouldn't mean losing yourself in the process.

Love Notes From Others

"I appreciated the one on one time to be vulnerable and speak aloud my thoughts. Journaling first to get all my thoughts straight, then speaking to solidify and hear again is SOOOOOO helpful!"

– KENDRA

"A transition... means learning how to go from where you are today - to where YOU want to be tomorrow - that could mean 1000000 things. This program will set you up with the foundational tools needed to explore your future."

– DANIEL

"Life Giving and Life Changing - every time I am with this group it’s like a breath of fresh air! I’m at peace, I’m excited, I’m joyous, and begging for more. These events fills my soul with joy and make me feel supported and inspired."

– BRITTANY

“Just take over the business” isn’t exactly a life plan.

70% of family businesses don’t make it to the next generation—not because of money, but because of silence, assumptions, and unspoken pressure.

If you’re the “next gen” in your family business, you’ve probably felt it:

  • The weight of expectations.

  • The guilt for wanting something different.

  • The fear of messing up what your parents built.

  • The pressure to prove yourself while still figuring out who you even are.

I created Your Next Gen Friend to change that.

This is a space for real talk. For reflection. For resources that actually get what you’re going through. And for reminding you: you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure this out in silence.

Questions You Might Be Wondering...

My situation feels so specific to my family. Will this really help?

The details might be unique, but the core challenges next-gens face are surprisingly universal. Trust me — in every workshop, there's at least one moment where someone says "Wait, you feel that way too?!"

What if what I want is different from what my family expects?

That tension is exactly what we're here to navigate. The goal isn't to force yourself into a predetermined role, but to find a path that honors both your family AND your authentic self.

My parents aren't ready to talk about transition. Can this still help?

Absolutely. Sometimes the work starts with just getting clear yourself before bringing others into the conversation. We'll meet you exactly where you are.

You’re not the only one navigating family, legacy, and identity. But you don’t have to do it alone.

There's this myth that next-gens should instinctively know how to navigate family business, wealth, and identity. But honestly? None of us were born knowing how to have these conversations.

I created this space because I needed it myself — a place where I could sort through the complicated feelings of gratitude, pressure, ambition, and doubt. A place where "I don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer.

What if, instead of trying to figure it all out in your head, you had a friend who's walked this path before? Someone who could help you find clarity without judgment?

That's what Your Next Gen Friend is all about.
